Unable to remove their profile from the SOS page, their stories are now below.
Each time a piece of our hearts goes with them
HARIBO
Oh Hari .... you have been our biggest success and our biggest loss.
Hari was taken to the vets on 23rd January 21 as he was not feeling well.
An emergency operation revealed that he had a tumour in his stomach, afftected lymph nodes and lumps that were inoperable.
We decided to let him go while he was on the table as we had cuddles and told him how much we loved him when we left.
We couldn't save him this time :(

Hari, our son is missed so much by us.
Life will never be the same
We love you big fella
XXXXXXXX
I am now 8 years young.

I have lots of names, Harigob , Hairy Butt Mutt to name a few ….I am called Haribo cos I am the sweetest boy !
I came here in September 2017 aged 5 from the North East, I was very overweight tipping the scales at 64kg.
Within 6 months, I had lost 20kg and could run !!
I was castrated far too young at 6 months old and as I am a stone former, I had to have a urethrostomy when I was 1 year old because I kept blocking.
I have arthritis in my joints and toes and walk strangely because of my hips.
When I arrived here I had a large horrific hole in one of my legs and my vet bills were astronomical and Mum said I was a waddling crock .... it’s a good job I had Mum as my nurse or I might not have got better.
We went through some tough times together and Mum was scared I might have had to be PTS if my wounds got infected or did not heal.
Not only did she make my leg better she fed me smaller amounts and I lost weight so now I am a big lean boy.
My hips still have problems and I have had laser treatment for it and also hydrotherapy..... I call it the acid bath !
I am a lot bigger than some of my Dalmatian brothers and sisters and I still need painkillers and supplements to help my joints.
My Mum says I am a right royal pain in the bum sometimes but she still loves me and I totally love her and Dad.
You can read more about me and my life since coming to DASville here

I now take NSAID's and suppliments to help my joints

ODIN
VERY SADLY THIS GENTLE LITTLE BOY DIED IN HIS SLEEP ON SUNDAY 20TH DECEMBER.... WE ARE HEARTBROKEN.

AFTER SPENDING A LOVELY SUNNY DAY PLAYING OUT AND SITTING WITH HIS HEAD ON SUE'S SHOULDER GIVING HER KISSES, HE DECIDED THAT IT WAS HIS TIME TO LEAVE.

WE ARE SO GRATEFUL TO HIM FOR TAKING THAT MOST HEARTBREAKING DECISION AWAY FROM US.

YOU ARE MISSED AND LOVED LITTLE BEAR AND ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HAD 2 FAMILIES WHO ADORED YOU.

WE SEND ALL OUR LOVE TO NADINE AND PENELOPE, HIS FIRST FAMILY
XXXXXXX

I am 7 years old.

I came to stay at DASVILLE because my family split up and my Mum and hooman sister had to move to another country.
They were heartbroken at having to leave me.
They cared for me so well as I have broken kidneys and need lots of medicines and special diet, I am a very poorly boy but look very well.
When I have a relapse of my condition, I must stay in the vet hospital, so my care costs a lot of money.
Auntie Sue asked the DAS family if they would help with my care and within a couple of days lots of lovely people had offered help.
My Mum, Auntie Sue and I are so grateful to them all for allowing me to come here to be loved and cared for for the rest of my days.
I like to wander in the fields and I have many friends here ..... I have a favourite place to sit and watch the Red Kites flying around.

Since I have been here I put a little bit of weight on and have suprised the vets by still being fit and happy.........they thought that I was going to pop my clogs soon after arriving as I am a poorly boy ..... Aunty Sue says I am a miracle boy !

I have to eat special renal food and have a phosphate binder added to my food to help me.

TEMPY

Very sadly, our little old lady Tempy went to sleep for the last time on 4th December, 2 weeks before her 14th birthday.
She is a very much missed member of the DAS family

I am well over 13 years young and the oldest dog here now Tatty has gone.

My ears don't work anymore.

I was going to be PTS for allegedly biting the dog sitter.
The vet said that cos I was so old, I would do it again .
I hadn’t been to the vet’s for over 2 years and yet she wanted to kill me without seeing if I was ill.
I only weighed 18kg and was a bag of bones, that’s why Mum called me Tempy.
I am such a gentle soul and am not hungry anymore and don’t have sticky out ribs.
I am one of the quiet ones that loves to go to the beach and have a nice long walk.

I now take NSAID's and suppliments to help my joints and have laser therapy.

CHARLIE aka TATTY TEDDY

Very, very sadly our boy Tatty went to sleepy byes for the last time on Thursday 1st October.
He was 14 and 276 days young.
He is missed so much by us and I can not delete his profile

I am 14 1/2 years young and the oldest critter here.

Mum and Dad call me Tatty Teddy!
My ears don't work and my eyes are a bit old now.
They say that I look like an old teddy that has lost some of it’s stuffing cos when I put my head down, I have lots of creases.
I came here when another rescue was raided and all the animals were taken away in May 2019.
I could hardly walk when I got here cos my nails were so long and I was very shut down.... I now have running races with my Mum !!
Now I can play with all my brothers and sisters if I want to and I have a little group of elderly spots who have become my friends.
I love life now and since being here I have been to the woods and the beach and I go to hydro every week to swim.
Mum says I am one of the smartest cookies she’s ever met, I can wrap her around my little paws.
I am very happy here, Mum and Dad look after me very well.

My back end is a bit bungered now so Mum and Dad have bought me a Chaz Chariot so that I can still go for walks but when I am tired, I can be pushed .... I feel like a king :)

I now have laser therapy and I also take NSAID's and suppliments to help my joints
